PawPaw's deer!
Got a call about 10 this morning to get the ice and the ice chests and head out to the "woods". PawPaw got a deer this morning. The kids were excited and we had a great rest of the morning watching the guys skin it.. I am sure this is PawPaw's idea of the PERFECT day! (AND of course for us it was a great learning experience! cant skin a deer without a little bit of an anatomy lesson!)

RUTHIE!!! You ought to put some kind of warning on those pics! LOL.... my veggie kids would have been traumatized if they'd seen it - they just watched Bambi this week!!!
haha j/k - they do love Bambi but they actually are very curious about how meat is produced. ;) If you come across any videos or kid friendly books of that nature, lemme know!
